Post Ratio: Sleep Posters

Data Visualization | Print Design | Art Direction | Creative Direction

Overview

This case study covers two different poster designs, both focused on the topic of tracking sleep patterns. The first poster focuses on the sleep patterns of babies, while the second poster is for adults.

These posters are intended to be “interactive”, in the classic sense of the word. When you first purchase one of these posters it is blank. By interacting with the posters each day to track the relevant data, you begin to discover trends and insights in a fun and organic way, while also creating a beautiful and personalized piece of data visualization.

"I measure every single thing my child does. And I track it on spreadsheets.
Really—every single thing. Even every poop. And it makes me a better parent."

Sleep Poster
(for adults)

More than a third of American adults are not getting enough sleep on a regular basis, according to results of a study released by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in February 2016.

The sleep poster encourages people to track their behavior so they can look for opportunities to improve, and hopefully track improvements over time.
